Northern Lights Alliance for the Homeless Shelters(NLAHS) is an amazing organization that provides emergency and long term shelter services for our Mason City Community. 
This past Friday, on Oct 24th, our Mason City Noon Rotary team of 9 volunteers took on the tasks of cleaning carpets, sweeping, washing and cleaning kitchens, assisting in renovations of housing units, installing new lighting fixtures, and so much more. The NLAHS organization is a beacon of hope for families and individuals in need in Mason City. After meeting and working with the Executive Director - Jesse Germundson, it was clear that he is the fire that keeps this organization going. He was with us every step of the way, he is a true servant leader and a clear champion of the people!
